Modeling a noisy spiking neuron

Capturing the dynamics of a neuron has been an important issue for a long time in computational neuroscience. We propose an analytical method by means of path integral techniques to estimate the probability distribution of onset potentials taking into account the eects of the surrounding background activity, and by considering noise as possible source of neural correlated activity.
