Resumen:
We consider a network of cortical spiking neurons with axonal conduction delays and spike timing dependent plasticity. Each neuron fires following a HH like dynamics and it is interconnected randomly to another neurons. We use a permutation entropy approach to characterize the dynamic of the spiking network neural activity. This allow us to investigate the fine temporal structure of complex neuronal signals not just using the probability distributions associated with inter-spike intervals, but instead using much more subtle measures accounting for its causal structure.
