Suppose we have a domain Rn and a domain contained in an n dimensionalsurface inRn+1; is referred as the target domain or screen to be illuminated.Let n1 and n2 be the indexes of refraction of two homogeneous and isotropic mediaI and II, respectively, and suppose that from the region surrounded by mediumI, radiation emanates in the vertical direction en+1 with intensity f (x) for x 2 , and is surrounded by media II.
