Descripción:
Mortality rate is not sole, but is dependent on the rate used to measure it, while the change in mortality represents the change experienced by the "rate" of mortality, after variations in mortality occur at a given age, different ages or in all of them (Arriaga, 1996). Professor Arriaga (2014) points out that the rates to measure the rate and change of mortality are frequently used in an inappropriate way, which can lead to inconsistencies in the interpretations of levels and trends of mortality.
