Resumen:
The book allows an understanding of populism from a postcolonial perspective that makes it possible to discuss: a) the connections of populism as a political movement and the proximity and distances with the postcolonial demands of autonomy / dependence of people, collectives and nations; b) show some of the edges of the historical processes that lead us to the current situation of postcoloniality and emergence of "other" populisms, and c) provide a systematic perspective on the innumerable ways of understanding populism from a postcolonial perspective. In this context, the experiences of different geopolitical and geocultural writing situations of the authors and their different academic backgrounds allow us to assemble a plural puzzle on a theme that is usually taken in monochromatic and bipolar registers. In the book, views are gathered from political science, anthropology, history, sociology, which implies that the reader has a theoretical, epistemic and methodological vision of a complex problematic.
