Layer double hydroxides
(LDH) have been used as catalysts, ion exchangers, adsorbents(1-3). LDH of
Mg-Al is biocompatible and has pharmaceutical applications, such as antacids,
drug stabilizer, for the therapy of digestive disorders, and others(4). These
materials consist of nano-layers of hydroxides, positively charged, and
interlayer exchangeable anions. In the present work, Indomethacin (Indo) and
Sodium Indomethacin (IndoNa) was incorporated into LDH Mg-Al-Cl by the anionic
exchange method
