We start from understanding this link from the concept of global history, that is defined as the examination of the ?transnational movement of documents, books, maps, laboratory materials, technical artifacts, images and ideas from different countries, between different cultures and even in different languages. ?(Cueto and Silva, 8). This perspective focuses on the intermediary characters who made these products intelligible. We start from the hypothesis of considering Krauss and his team, and Penna as those characters who tried, through a wide reading of different authors, especially from Europe and the United States.
