Resumen:
The direction of movement is represented in the visual cortex through the neuronal responses that are tuned withthe direction of the given stimulus. Though this is well known, the temporal dynamic of the neuronal responses to the applicationof mobile stimulus remains unclear. In the current work, we have studied the temporal properties that exhibit the responses ofprimary visual cortex neurons population during the application of stimuli moving in different directions. The results show thatneuronal responses to stimuli moving in opposite directions exhibit different latencies that depends on the directional selectivityof the neurons.
