Resumen:
Herein, we present our results on the synthesis of β-S-Gal(1-3)GlcNActhiodisaccharide, which canbe considered mimetic of the keratan repeating unit. The chosen method involves a double inversion of the C-3 configuration of a glucosamine derivative. The keyprecursor was a2-azido-3-O-triflatehaving allo configuration. Moreover, wedescribe the use ofa vinyl azide obtained by elimination of this triflate derivative asprecursor for anew class of2-azido-(1-2)-thiodisaccharides.
