Resumen:
We propose a method for measuring the projected rotational velocity vsini with high precision avoiding systematic errors that have afected previous determinations due to limb darkening efects and uncertain continuum position. We have overcome the limitation imposed by blended spectral lines in stellar types later than A4 using medium resolution spectra. Though not automatic, our method was designed to be applied systematically to large numbers of objects without excessive computational requirement.
