Resumen:
The crosstalk between the cancer cells andthose from the tumor microenvironment are important in cancerbiology. In breast cancer, there is a deregulated secretion ofcytokines and chemokines from the adipose tissue (AT) that cancontribute to tumor onset and progression. In a previous work,we have seen that the human AT surrounding breast cancer hasa greater TNF expression compared to AT adjacent to normalmammary. Since TNF can induce adipocyte lipolysis and, hence, support the anabolic tumor metabolism, we measuredtriglyceride secretion in murine mammary gland AT conditionedmedia (C57BL-6j) after 48 h with or without TNF 10 ng/ml. Wefound that TNF increased the triglyceride secretion (5.8 g/l vs.0.93 g/l basal; p0.01). We alsoperformed a total extraction of lipids from the tissue of all theabove conditions. We observed a decreased in the total contentof lipids only under TNF stimulus (TNF: 0.77 respect to basal,p
