Resumen:
Spermatogenesis is a complex process that requires optimal conditions to produce functional spermatozoa. Since testicular function is temperature-dependent, this study aims to assess the impact of temperature and two climatic indexes that combine temperature and humidity (THI: temperature-humidity index; and AT: apparent temperature) on semen quality. Semen samples were obtained from men subjected to semen evaluation as part of routine andrology workup (n=11657; 1/2010-11/2016) and computer-assisted sperm analysis (CASA; n=4705) at the Laboratorio de Andrología y Reproducción (LAR), following WHO 2010 criteria. Temperature and humidity readings were obtained from the Sistema Meteorológico Nacional for Córdoba region, and indexes were calculated using computational formulas. Statistical analyses were done with GraphPad-InStat software (Significant differences
