Resumen:
In the world there are high levels of pollution and dependence on the availability and prices of fossil fuels. Therefore, it isnecessary to research and develop alternative sources of energy, especially renewable energies. Photovoltaic solar systemsrepresent one of the most used renewable energy sources nowadays. It is increasingly common to use it combined with othersources and energy storage systems to form micro-grids. In this work, a micro-grid composed by several sources such asphotovoltaic solar energy, wind energy, and energy storage units was modelled. Afterwards, optimization strategies wereproposed which allowed determining the optimal number of units for each energy source and storage needed, and their optimalnominal power value. The viability of the proposed methodology was proved by the results obtained.
