Resumen:
ardiovascular diseases (CVD): first cause of death in the world, represent 31 % of all deaths, over 75% of CVD deaths occur in low incomeand middle-income countries.Aortic clamping: common strategy during vascular surgery,Unknown impacts on hemodynamics and mechanical properties.✓ Model clamping with two different approaches,✓ Assess the diastolic time-constant using an optimization method,✓ Compare models with experimental measurements.ObjectivesInvasive arterial pressure measured with a fluid-filled catheter inthe right radial artery during vascular surgery,30 to 60-seconds interval immediately before and after eachclamp event for five adult patients undergoing aortic clamping.
