Resumen:
Canine vector-borne pathogens (CVBP) comprises a relevant and globally distributedgroup of disease agents. Nine groups of canine vector-borne pathogens (CVBP) were molecularly investigated in free-ranging, owned rural dogs and in three foxes species of Chile. The most prevalent agent detected in dogs was Anaplasma platys, followed by Candidatus Mycoplasma haematoparvum, while Hepatozoon felis-like was the most prevalent in foxes. This study represents an extense report of vector-borne pathogens of foxes and dogs in Chile.
