This presentations will introduce the Linear Time Invariant (LTI) energymaximising controller, LiTe-Con, developed to be applied to wave energysystems.To this end, we will firstly provide an overview of commonly used control strategies and approaches applied to wave energy systems, aiming to understand the challenges present in wave energy field.Then, the LiTe-Con basics, including the constraint handling strategy, will be briefly shown.Finally, an application case, in which the energy maximising control problem for Wave Energy Converters (WECs) is addressed by LiTe-Con controller. The benefit of the use of the strategy is highlighted
