Spatial Distribution of Pre-Main Sequence Stars in Taurus

Different statistical analysis techniques (such as, the  the two-point angular correlation function, the nearest-neighbor analysis and the kernel method) are applied in order to derive characteristic properties of the nonrandom spatial distribution of premain-sequence stars in the Taurus-Auriga molecular. This analysis strongly indicades the existence of real clustering in the T Tauri distribution in the Taurus molecular cloud.
