Multiple Extrasolar Planetary Systems and the Solar System

Currently, 20 planetary systems with 4 or more planets are known. The orbital configurations, the physical properties of the planets themselves, and those of the stars which they orbit, are all very varied in relation to the Solar System. In this contribution a detailed comparative analysis of these characteristics is presented, establishing similarities and differences with the Solar System. The final objective of this work is to place the Solar System within the context of the other known multiple planetary systems.
