Some Remarks on Attitude, Epokhé and Reduction in Husserl

Drawing on research manuscripts by Edmund Husserl recently published in the Husserliana edition, we focus on the issue of attitudes as habitual ways of dealing with specific kinds of objects in the world. Secondly, we discuss the specific attitude Husserl calls the transcendental attitude over against mundane attitudes. On this basis, we try, thirdly, to offer a clarification of the sense and significance of the phenomenologial reduction.
