AC susceptibility with superimposed DC magnetic field in a current biased granular high Tc superconductor

We have investigated the effect in AC magnetic susceptibility, ϰac=ϰ′+jϰ″, of both DC transport current, Jt, and DC magnetic field, Hdc, in polycristalline HTSC. Two regimes are observed: at low DC fields critical state is modified by the current self field; but as Hdc is increased, Jt becomes dissipative (Vdc≠0) and ϰac is determined by the samples´s resistance.
