ViSta 7 is the last version of the statistical software originally developed by ForrestW. Young back in the last century. ViSta focused on interactive graphics for statisticalanalysis and data visualization. It is free, open and expandable and can be downloadedfor free at www.uv.es/visualstats/Book . Version 7 has an improved interface, lessbugs, and a number of new features. Among the new features we can mention themodules for Pychometrics (namely, item-test analysis, factor analysis, etc.), clusteranalysis, regression with categorical variables, vectorial graphics output, kerneldensity estimation, non-parametric bootstrap, etc. All these features make ViSta acompelling program both for learners and for advanced users of statistics. ViSta 7 isavailable for Windows 32-bits system (98 or later versions).
