Resumen:
Pioneer research on mixing ionic-electronic conducting (MIEC)cathodes for IT-SOFCs is focused on the search of perovskite-type structures that combine high tolerance to oxygen vacancies, electronic conductivity and electrochemical activity for oxygen reduction. Promising candidates to fulfill this role are SrCoO3-G?based perovskites, which are extensively studied1-3. To date, no wet chemistry method has been reported for the synthesis of cubic Nb/Ta-doped SrCoO3-Gperovskites. Based on this context, the present study is focused on the synthesis of cubic SrCo0.9M0.1O3-Gperovskites (with M= Nb5+and Ta5+) at lower temperatures, synthesized by sol-gel synthesis using tartrate-precursor decomposition. The materials developed in this work were characterized with X-ray powder diffraction, thermal gravimetricanalysis andspectroscopic measurements. The morphology and average particle size were investigated by FE-SEM analysis. The present study may provide a new strategy for the synthesis ofMIEC materials as nanopowders at lower temperatures.Referencias:1. T. Nagai, W. Ito, T.R.
