Resumen:
The convertion of renewable fuels, e.g. ethanol, into hydrogen is an important research area. We describe an alternative method to produce and indirectly storage hydrogen based on iron iron oxides and reversible systems. In this system, ethanol is to reduce the iron oxide to Fe. Metallic iron can degraded as a H2 reservoir since it can be stored, easily transported and, when needed, hydrogen can be produced by a simple reaction with water.
