Abstract The temperature dependence of the hyperfine parameters in the aurivillius-type compound Bi4SrHf0.1Ti3.9O15 powder samples have been investigated for the first time by means of Perturbed Angular Correlation spectroscopy using 181Ta hyperfine probes. The probes were produced putting the pure samples in a thermal neutron flux during a short time to obtain a ppm probe concentration.The measurements have been performed as a function of temperature in the range from 293 K to 1275 K. The hyperfine interactions have been established, showing static quadrupolar interaction. The principal components of the Electric Field Gradient tensor are presented and analized as a function of temperature. *Supported by CONICET.
