Resumen:
U-Pb dating in zircons allows distinguishing six deformational events in granites with solid-state deformation in the Northpatagonian Massif during Gondwana times. Temporary and deformational patterns do not allow to consider the existence of subduction and collision events in the northern part of the Massif. The design is consistent with transpressive - transtensive deformation associated strike-slip movements in the northern part. Transtensional conditions associated to deformation parallel to the continental margin induced by oblique subduction, seems to produce the development of open space structures associated with intrusiveness observed in the western part of the Massif.
