INVUCOBO.in Buenos Aires Province population grouth increases towards the coastal touristic counties. The origin of these counties lacks of development plans and today they are subject to particular risks, i.e,coastal erosion,recurrent floods and drainage obstructions (caused by dune migrations or clogging by berms).Global vulnerability asessments suggest considering predicted sea level rising trends. But B.A. present riks should be priority considered taking into account present policies of land reclamation,coastal-defence,techniques,groundwater overexplotation,landscape deterioration and management of solid and liquid wastes.INVUCOBO is a system based on a GIS shell (Arc View) developed to recognised along the 30 counties of B.A. coastaline,their population statistics,environmental problems and vulnerability,and a graphic geomorphologic characterisation based on satellite images.
