Resumen:
The manipulation of the magnetic response by electricsignals is a subject of growing interest in dierentareas of applied science due to the possibility of tuninga magnetic property by applying an external voltage. In this sense, ferroelectric/ferromagnetic heterostructuresthat combine large piezoelectricity and magnetostrictionare particularly attractive due to potentialapplications in electronic devices. This investigation reports on the magnetic propertiesof dierent ferromagnetic lms (Ni, FePt, Co,permalloy) deposited by magnetron sputtering on topof a polished ferroelectric crystal of lead magnesiumniobate-lead titanate (PMN-PT) substrates. Thesestructures were built with the goal of studying howa controlled strain of the substrate aects the magneticresponse of the ferromagnetic lm.[1, 2]The resulting samples were characterized, bothstructurally and magnetically. The static magneticanalysis was performed by dierent magnetometrytechniques and MFM images, the dynamic responsewas achieved by ferromagnetic resonance experiments.Strong changes of magnetic anisotropy were observedin Ni and FePt lms, which may be correlatedwith the large magnetostriction coecient of these ferromagnets.[1] Jose M.
