Resumen:
Optical breakdown in tridistilled water drops acoustically levitated, was studied by timeresolved optical emission spectroscopy and by analyzing the transmittance of the laser pulseenergy. Breakdown was induced by Nd:YAG laser pulses of 10 ns with energy of 100 mJ andduration of 10ns, at 1064 nm. In order to obtain a signal related to the plasma and tounderstand the physical process of the drop breakdown, we place the drop between theparallel plates of a capacitor, where negative plate is connected to ground by a resistor whichgives a voltage signal [1]. In this work we analyze the plasma characteristics and we relatedwith external parameters.
