I expose seven reasons why we need more studies in ethnomethodology, which I found Liberman?s book: 1. To understand the uses of reason; 2. To discover categorical intuition at work in the real world; 3. To account for the ?nonconceptual aspects of organizing the orderliness of local affairs?; 4. To pursue situated studies; 5. To take seriously into consideration the local details of naturally occurring phenomena; 6. To better understand universality and objectivity; 7. To enhance the practice of phenomenology through hybrid studies.
