Resumen:
In this study, we examine nanoporous carbon materials, which are used as electrodes in electric double layer capacitors (EDLCs). For the study, the porous carbon materials were imaged using FIB-SEM Nanotomography. Then, the solid phases and the pore spaces were segmented and a stochastic model was fitted to the segmented datasets. Finally, the effective transport properties were computed for the segmented as well as the modeled structures.
