From Kristeller and Garin, including Fubini, Goodhart Gordan, Sozzi, Harth and more recently, Montalto, Cánfora and Greenblatt -to name just a few, Poggio Bracciolinis work has been studied from different points of view. Yet it has not received the attention that other Renaissance humanists have, and theres still a lot to deal with in his work. In this presentation, I analyze some of his works with the aim of studying the pleasure as cultural practice.
