Resumen:
In this work, we study aniline polymerization, after adsorption, over mesoporous material type MCM-41 with a high regularity of the hexagonal packed array of channels, synthesized in our laboratory. Semi conducting polyaniline (PANI/MCM-41) composites has been synthesized by an in-situ polymerization technique. The FTIR analysis of the PANI-MCM-41 shows bands attributed to N-H stretching at 3100-3400 cm-1 and the bands at 1580-1590 cm-1 and 1490-1510 cm-1 attributed to quinone and aromatic ring deformations. The Uv-Vis spectrum of PANI shows characteristic maxima (¦Ëmax) at 325 nm, and 600 nm. Conductivity and magnetization studies were performed on the PANI/Na-AlMCM-41 composites. In this way the conductivity of the composite at room temperature was 7*10-5 S cm-1. The composite shows semiconductor properties because its conductivity increases as the temperature increases.
