We consider that the contributions of classical pragmatism deserve special mention for the renewal the idea of creativity and imagination creative. Especially in the work of John Dewey, heir to a large extent of Peircean developments.In this paper we will refer exclusively to the theory of Deweyan experiencia and it relationsheep with the idea of transformation. We will argue that understanding it like a transaccional and transformational theory of the action, it offers a promising framework for accounting for human creative processes in an acceptable and novelty way. We will emphasize the consequences derived from his idea of degrees of creativity, pointing out its advantages for current problems of philosophy in this regard.
