Studying a galactic HII region/SNR complex

The supernova remnant (SNR) G018.1-00.1 lies in a very interesting and rich galactic region. It is surrounded by several HII regions, some of them catalogued as infrared dust bubbles, and molecular gas. In this work we present some results about the study of the interstellar medium towards this HII region/SNR complex. Additionally, we present results obtained from optical spectroscopic observations performed with the 2.15 m telescope at CASLEO, looking for exciting stars of the HII regions. We found several OB-type stars.
