Study of the interstellar medium around the supernova remnant G27.8+0.6

The supernova remnant G27.8+0.6 has been classified as a plerion,as it presents in the radio band a filled center with polarized emission and flatspectrum. The remnant lies inside the error box of the gamma -ray source EGRJ1838-0420 but the origin of the   emission still remains unclear. In this work, westudied the interstellar medium around G27.8+0.6. From the distribution of themolecular gas, we found a molecular cloud that presents morphological signaturesof interaction with the remnant. This interaction points to a possiblehadronic origin for the  gamma-ray emission.
