The world faces a stage of depletion of fossil fuels andhigh levels of pollution. Hence it is necessary the developmentof new ways of generating electricity using alternativesources. One of such sources, and one that offers apromising future, is the use of fuel cells. Essentially, fuelcells turn chemical energy from fuel into electrical energy.Nevertheless, aspects concerning the modeling, controland practical use of fuel cells continue to be studied. Thiswork contributes to these studies by offering a modelingand simulation proposal referring to the use of fuel cells ina small electricity generation system.
