Resumen:
The general purpose of this research is to contribute to the study of the relationships between economic thought and planning economic development strategies. This will be done by conducting a historical analysis of a specific case: the economic development strategy drove by Peronism when it returned to the government of Argentina in 1973, after almost twenty years of political proscription. Especially, this paper pretends to explain the main ?novelty? of this strategy in respect to the one implemented by Peronism between 1946 and 1955, tracking down the institutional and political belonging as well as the economic thought?s filiations of the experts and the politicians who designed the 1973 development plan. In order to do this, the structure of this paper is: 1) a description of the main ?novelty? of Peronism?s 1973 economic development strategy; 2) the introduction of the experts who were identified by historians as the main designers of the third Peronist government?s economic program; 3) (or this paper?s empirical input) the reconstruction of the advice of ECLAC?s experts over the design of the Plan Trienal para la Reconstrucción y la Liberación Nacional 1974-1977, a three-year developing plan presented by President Juan Domingo Perón in December 1973; and 4) the final reflections, where a possible interpretation of this historical event will be presented.
