INSUGEO (CONICET)ABSTRACTDifferent possibilities of application of the History of the Geology and the Epistemology to the teaching of Geology are examined. For the History are considered the areas of the concepts, disciplines and the Geology like science. For Epistemology the work in the field, in the laboratory and the elaboration of reports in cabinet are considered. Both, History and Epistemology are suitables to support the teaching of the Geology.
