Resumen:
This work provides a personalizedcontrol algorithm design based on patient dynamicsidentification. It has been tested in 10 virtual subjectsfrom the reduced nonlinear UVa/Padova metabolicsimulator (30 patients). Twelve hour procedures oneach patient are performed in order to identify a representativedynamical model. This procedure involvesthe measurement of the venous blood glucose withoutconsidering the noise added by a CGM (ContinuousGlucose Monitor). An H1 controller is designed andcombined with an insulin feedback loop in order tominimize the risk of hypoglycemia. The controllersare tested over the complete model with the additionalnoise of CGM measurements and consideringthe CSII (Continuous Subcutaneous Insulin Infusion)pump constraints. Average and worst case bounds onthe glucose and insulin behavior are obtained. Theresults seem very promising.
