The behavior at the microstructural level in metallic materials is studied to understand theeffects of the morphological parameters on the stress and deformation fields. Using a twodimensionalmodel to analize a grain with dendritic geometry in interaction with a matrix, undertensile tests of the matrix simulation were perdormed based on the curvature of the dendritictip, the length of the dendritic branches and the size of grain. It is assumed a microstructurecomposed by two phases: a matrix that constains a dendritie, whose behavior is modeled inelastoplastic regime assuming for both phases that they have equal stiffnes but different plasticproperties.
