In this paper we describe a controller and sensorfusion algorithm for a low-cost commercial quadrotor helicopterand its implementation in ROS. The dynamics of the system isassumed decoupled and identified as four SISO systems usingsubspace state-space system identification methods. A simple PDcontroller is designed using these open loop transfer functionsand evaluated in simulation.
