Resumen:
A coatedmesh configuration for photocatalytic wall reactor is addressed and evaluatedfor the elimination of dichloromethane in air. Three commercial materials weretested ascatalyst support: two fiberglass meshes and one stainless steel mesh.Parameters such as catalyst load and adherence were evaluated; thephotocatalytic activity was as well tested in a laboratory reactor under UVlamps. Considering the qualitative and quantitative results, fiberglass #2appears as the best option for a photocatalytic mesh device.
