Resumen:
Faunal analysis has grown inMiddle Paraná archeology since 1990 due to the increase in the number of sitesinvestigated and the use of new approaches, methods and techniques. Theconsequent generation of data has contributed to fill preexisting spatial gaps.This situation encourages new integration of the data. The goal of this paperis to discuss the regional archaeozoological evidence (sites, location, presentand exploited species), and the major exploitation patterns concerning MiddleParaná alluvial plain. The time involved is the late Holocene (ca. 2000 AP until around the time ofEuropean arrival).
