Resumen:
Smiling is Fun (SiF), developed by the Spanish research group LabPsiTec, is a self-apply internet intervention program based on the David Barlow?s Unified Protocol for Transdiagnostic Treatment of Emotional Disorders as well as positive psychology? techniques. This type of self-intervention is effective in the treatment of depression like face-to-face treatments (Cuijpers & Riper, 2014), and SiF has already show its usefulness in the Spanish population (Botella et al., 2016; Mira et al., 2012; Mira, Farfallini et al., 2016). SiF allows the individual to learn and practice adaptive ways to cope with daily problems and depressive symptoms. Along 8 online modules of intervention, participants received psychoeducational information about emotional disorders, advantages and disadvantages of change, cognitive restructuring, behavioral activation, importance of emotions, differences between hedonic and eudaimonic well-being, techniques for self-regulation, and relapse prevention. The aim of this work is to present the preliminary data of the validation of SiF carried out in Argentina with a RCT, in general and subclinical population. We will obtain the sample from volunteers of different local?s universities. During the screening, participants will complete an evaluation to rule out those with severe psychopathology. Then y also will complete others questionnaires at the end of each module, post-intervention, and in follow-ups. The data will be analyzed to establish the statistical differences between the experimental and control group.
