Resumen:
Timpson?sdeflationary view of information is an innovative and well articulated view thathad a great impact on the philosophy of physics community. However, recentlysome of the arguments supporting the deflationary view have been criticallyreviewed. The aim of this paper is to retain the general idea behind Timpson?sproposal, but replacing the conflicting elements used to support his thesiswith new argumentative resources based on the notion of manipulability.
