Resumen:
We present results of simulations of planetary migration of multi-planet systems using the FARGO3D hydro-code, as well as N-body simulations where migration is simulated through dissipative forces. Due to the high computational cost of the hydrodynamic simulations, a method which allows to follow the orbital evolution of the system without having to define a global hydrodynamic domain is developed. The method may be interpreted as a mobile mesh that follows the orbital evolution of the system. This significantly reduces the computational cost, allowing for long-term and large-scale simulations that are impossible to attain using conventional techniques.
