Resumen:
Chironomids (Insecta: Chironomidae) and ostracodes (Crustacea: Ostracoda) are two of the most abundant, diverse and environmentally sensitive groups of organisms in the northern neotropical aquatic ecosystems (Pérez et al. 2013). This study shows the potential of using both groups as environmental indicators for quantitative reconstructions. Comparison of reconstructions derived from different proxies help to assess the overall statistical significance of a quantitative reconstruction
