Resumen:
In this work, we have investigated the synthesis and characterization of SrFe2As2 single crystals grown by the In-flux technique. As already discussed in previous reports, this technique may be a convenient growth route for these materials and, in some cases, it may give rise to high quality single crystals with higher transition temperatures than similar crystals grown by self-flux or Sn-flux. Besides this, several experiments, like electrical resistivity, magnetic susceptibility, nuclear magnetic resonance and energy dispersive spectroscopy, indicated that there is no In incorporation in our single crystals. Furthermore, we have extended the In-growth of the pure compound to nearly optimally doped superconducting samples of Sr(Fe1-xMx)2As2 (M = Co) and construct a temperature-composition phase diagram that we compare to the Ba-based systems and to previous work in the literature about similar compounds grown by others techniques.
