Resumen:
The Cerro Barcino Formation bears an important suite of vertebrate remains including titanosautiform sauropods, theropods, crocodyliforms, turtles and lepidosauromorphs. Most of them are concentrated in a discrete interval (lower part of the Cerro Castaño Member) probably due to stratigraphic condensation as a response to a relatively high base level of rivers and/or reduced pyroclastic supply, according to the presence of umerous and strngly-developed hydromorphic paleosols
