Resumen:
A model based in delay equations for density-waveoscillations is presented. The equationsare analyzed numerically and compared with more sophisticated models. Different kinds ofbehavior were found, particularly subcriticaland supercriticalHopf bifurcations. Moreoverthe present approach can be used to better understand the complicated dynamics of boilingflows systems.
